One of the prime catches of the season, Mangrove Snapper aka Gray Snapper, also happens to be a wonderful fish to enjoy after you return home from your chartered fishing adventure in good ole Venice, LA! Better yet, this species is also considered among one of the most ocean-friendly choices of wild-caught fish, more so than its cousin the Red Snapper. Snapper is a popular white-fleshed fish with a firm texture and mild flavor, perfect for a wide variety of preparations: grilling, searing, frying, braising, steaming, and more. Below are some of our favorite dishes prepared with this fresh catch. Enjoy!
